Community Outreach & Education Event

The practice held a community event on Friday, 22nd August, which was a great success.

The purpose of the event was to educate our patients on the wider range of services available through the practice, such as NHS 111, Pharmacy First, and online services. Our aim was to raise awareness of the different ways patients can access medical advice and support, particularly when an appointment may not be immediately available.

The session was interactive, giving patients the opportunity to ask questions and better understand how to make the most of these services. Several patients commented that they found the information very useful and enlightening, and a few expressed a strong interest in using online services in the future.

We are pleased with the positive engagement from our patients and will continue to look at holding similar events in the future to strengthen our connection with the community and support patients in accessing the right care at the right time.
